Responsible for coordinating physician and patient care provider credentialing documentation.  Works independently and as a valued team member supporting the coordination of all operational aspects of the credentialing program, including organizing, compiling key informational data and executing processes and procedures related to the credentialing, re-credentialing and licensing of the medical staff personnel. Assignments are planned and executed with considerable independence in conformance with established policies, regulations, and laws.  Participates in outside organizations who support the credentialing process and programs.


EDUCATION:  Associate Degree or equal years in Medical environment



  • Must have knowledge of payer credentialing, licensure and CAQH.
  • Must have verbal and analytical skills usually acquired through the completion of an Associate’s Degree program, or through a combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • Must possess high level of Customer service-oriented skills and be able to function independently and perform routine department procedures with minimal supervision.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of groups.
  • Must have ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Must have excellent follow through and attention to detail.





  1. Must have high level of comfort with new computer programs and accompanying MS office applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
