General Responsibilities


The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager plays a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely reporting of business performance, as well as thorough and robust financial forecasts. This is a highly visible position and serves as a key resource to senior decision-makers in the business P&L’s. This position demands a high level of attention to detail, strong analytical ability, pragmatism, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

In this role you will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and performance of the FP&A unit in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws and regulations. You will oversee all the preparation of current financial reports as well as summaries and forecasts for future business growth and general economic outlook.


Essential Duties

  • Analyze, consolidate and direct all internal financial statements and other statistical and routine reports.
  • Oversee, prepare and issue the organization’s annual financial report.
  • Evaluate and advise on the impact of long range planning, introduction of new programs and regulatory action.
  • Direct and analyze studies of general economic, business, and financial conditions and their impact on the organization's policies and operations.
  • Analyze operational and regulatory issues, and determines their financial impact.
  • Coordinate the annual budgeting process.


  • Minimum five (5) years' progressive experience in finance, accounting or similar positions, with emphasis in analysis and decision-making support at medium or large-size companies
  • Direct FP&A experience with budgets, cash flow forecasting, decision scenarios and financial modeling
  • Advanced quantitative and analytical skills (Excel, MS Office suite)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills 
  • Experience with enterprise-level ERP and accounting software (e.g. SAP, Oracle Financials, Lawson, MS Great Plains, Sage MIP); Familiarity with MS Access and MS Great Plains preferred 
  • Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves 
  • Experience with business intelligence platforms (Hyperion, Crystal Reports, Cognos, Tableau, or similar) preferred 
  • Prior Management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields; MBA/Masters degree preferred
