    The Director/ Sr. Director RCM, Quality Assurance, and Coding will strategically build and manage accountable departments that are responsive and accountable to our clients for coding education, Evaluation and Management coding auditing, enrollment, and auditing of all RCM services provided to improve education and productivity.  This position requires an energetic, team oriented senior leader with extensive RCM and coding background. Excellent liaison skills with internal departments and external customers is required.


    Coding and Enrollment Departments

    • Develop policies and procedures and workflow tools for the department
    • Assure staff have appropriate job descriptions, training and leadership
    • Develop a published schedule of audits or onsite training to improve accountability of department
    • Research and improve daily tools in use
    • Collaborate on departmental budget and appropriate staffing volumes
    • Manage multi-level staff including time approvals, evaluations and remedial
    • Increase quality and client satisfaction for this service offering
    • Assure daily operations for the department

    Key Objectives

    1. Lead effectively in a team-oriented environment to win confidence and establish accountability across multiple levels of business
    2. Collaborate with all RCM managers to effect mutual day-to-day quality improvements across the department
    3. Assure high level and lawful performance for the Credentialing and QA/Coding departments

    Duties are performed in accordance with Continuum philosophy, policies, procedures, and standards


    Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. Four-year college degree; at least 7 years of experience directly related to RCM department leadership.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    1. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
    2. Project planning and implementation skills
    3. Knowledge of medical practice operations and the clinical systems used
    4. Ability to use independent judgment to manage and impart confidential information
    5. Strong documentation skills using Microsoft Office products
    6. Excellent collaboration skills to function as a team/unit with other departments
