    Continuum Health has an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Business Partner to join our team. The Human Resources Business Partner will be responsible for aligning business objectives with team members and management in designated business units. This person serves as a consultant to our management team on human resource-related issues. The successful Human Resources Business Partner acts as a change agent and assesses and anticipates HR-related needs, as well as maintains working knowledge of the business unit's financial position, its strategic plans, its culture, and its competition.

    Responsibilities

     

    • Act as a change agent that assesses and anticipates HR-related business needs.
    • Provide HR services that align to the strategies and needs of the business units, and analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
    • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
    • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
    • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
    • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.

     

     

    • Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.

     

    • Develops a forward-thinking retention strategy around the organizational talent needs. 
    • Partners with the various departments to analyze trends and to manage an ongoing talent portfolio and support the movement of high potential talent (e.g., developing assessment processes, creating development programs, ensuring development plans are in place, succession planning for key senior roles and pivotal roles).

    Qualifications

     

    • Bachelor’s Degree and relevant industry experience, healthcare preferred.
    • Experience supporting a high performing Human Resources program.
    • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
    • Strong listener and presenter, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Exhibits behavior and communication skills that are consistent with Continuum Health’s culture and core values, and demonstrates commitment to superior customer service with each and every internal and external customer.
    • Ability to build strong relationships internally and work with all levels of the organization to identify, analyze and solve problems and create opportunities for continuous improvement.

     

    Technology Strengths:

    • Basic proficiency or better with Microsoft Office products including, but not limited to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. (Advanced proficiency and understanding is preferred)
